Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin visited the president at the White House last night, along with famed rock guitarist Ted Nugent and music artist Kid Rock.

President Trump reportedly invited the trio and family members to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. Wednesday for a special dinner, according to a blog post from Palin.

The three also posed in front of a portrait of two-time Democrat presidential loser Hillary Clinton in a mocking fashion.

“The company was wonderful and dinner was beyond superb, with Baked Alaska for dessert,” Palin wrote. “Thanks to the outstanding White House staff, chefs, Secret Service, and of course the President for making it such a special evening.”

“Asked why I invited Kid Rock and Ted Nugent I joked, ‘Because Jesus was booked,'” Palin added.

Writing on DeerAndDeerHunting.com, Nugent expressed his support for President Trump’s pro-Second Amendment agenda.

“President Donald Trump has long expressed his support of hunting, wildlife conservation and gun rights in America,” Nugent wrote.

“With sons who hunt, the President is very aware of the misguided, anti-science and anti-hunting laws and regulations perpetrated by power abusing bureaucrats infesting our states and nation. I would say that the prognosis for hunter’s rights has never been better for the future of hunting, fishing and trapping in America, I assure you.”

He also discussed his White House visit in a live video posted to Facebook Thursday:

Palin, Nugent and Kid Rock were all supportive of Trump throughout the 2016 election campaign.
