Obama made a special trip to the heart of the Lone Star state yesterday where he tried his best once again to sell the public reassurances that Obamacare will work once the snags have been worked out.

“You’ve all heard about the website woes. Nothing drives me more crazy than the fact that right now there’s great insurance to be had out there, choice and competition where people can save money for a better product, except too many folks haven’t been able to get to the website,” Obama said, once again sounding like Gil from The Simpsons.

“This is like having a really good product in a store and the cash registers don’t work, and there’s not enough parking spots and nobody can get through the door… so we are working overtime to get this fixed,” Obama stated, amazingly without the aid of his trusty teleprompter.

Not surprisingly, Obama failed to address the top Obamacare criticism, which is that the president lied when he said people could keep their health plans.

Nevertheless, Obama appeared confident that he could still salvage the failed health care initiative’s rollout in the minds of Texans, many of whom are unaware of the extreme hardships that await them and their fellow countrymen when Obamacare kicks into high gear.
