Sir Michael Caine delivered an interview to Sky News in which he sung the praises of Brexit and said he voted for “freedom” alongside his fellow Englishmen who support leaving the totalitarian European Union and a return to national sovereignty.

“I voted for Brexit,” he said. “I look at it in the final thing, and I’ll tell you what it is with me – I would rather be a poor master than a rich servant.”

“It wasn’t about the racism, immigrants or anything, it was about freedom.”

Addressing the uncertainty ahead for the United Kingdom as it launches into two years of bitter negotiations with the gangsters of the EU, Caine said he believes the mayhem will eventually subside and tensions will ease.

“Politics is always chaotic,” he asserted. “In politics you’re always going into areas you’ve never been before, so you’re going to get lost and then you’re going to find your way, and then it’ll be alright.”

Caine is considered by many to be the most iconic Brit in Hollywood, with ShortList magazine declaring him ‘Britain’s Greatest Living Movie Star’ and the Telegraph calling him ‘peerless.’

His position on Brexit is well-established, having expressed his support for the Leave campaign long before the June, 2016, referendum vote.

In a January, 2016, interview with the BBC, Caine offered a variety of refreshingly anti-PC opinions that are decidedly uncharacteristic for a pop celebrity of any kind, rejecting Hollywood’s ‘white guilt’ SJW culture and contending that unelected EU dictators have gotten “carried away.”

“Unless there are some extremely significant changes, I think we should get out,” he said. “You say, ‘Well, we’ll fail’ – okay, so you fail. Get better, work harder – and then you’ll be a success.”

“You cannot be dictated to by thousands of faceless civil servants who make these rules.”

Caine explained how his point of view has been shaped by a uniquely broad life experience, describing his journey from poverty, once working in factories and taking government benefits, to becoming a multi-millionaire with massive tax burdens.

As more and more actors, musicians and cultural icons step forward to join the populist-nationalist movement surging across the globe, the globalist-socialist elite further lose their grip on the hearts and minds of the people.
