This week Infowars reported on the case of an Indian man who was visiting his family in Alabama being confronted and paralyzed at the hands of police merely for walking around the neighborhood.

Now the footage of the incident has been released, along with the audio from the exchange, revealing how an innocent man was set upon and crippled by thug cops all because one busybody resident didn’t like the look of him.

The videos, taken from dashcams, show just how forcefully the cops took Sureshbhai Patel to the ground, leaving him needing spinal surgery, and facing months of therapy.

As local news reports have indicated, a neighbor called the police, describing Mr Patel as “a skinny black guy.” The neighbor also stated “he’s got a toboggan on, he’s really skinny.” Presumably this ignorant person, who should also be held responsible for what unfolded, meant a turban, and not a sled.

The neighbor also told the operator that he was following Mr Patel, and had not gone to work because he felt it was unsafe to leave his wife home alone while the “skinny black guy,” aged 74, was strolling around the block.

The full exchange between the cops and Mr Patel reveals that no effort was made on the part of the officers to calmly identify the elderly man who struggled to communicate with them. They simply immediately resorted to jack boot brute force.

“What’s going on sir?”

“You what?”

“India.”

“Where you heading?”

“Where?”

“I can’t understand you, sir.”

“Where’s your address?”

“Do you have any ID?”

“India?”

“Do you live here.”

“Sir, sir, come here.”

“Do not jerk away from me again, or I will put you on the ground. Do you understand?”

And then the cops paralyzed him.

You can clearly see that the officer, Eric Parker, grabs Mr Patel’s arm, twists it behind his back and sweeps out his feet from underneath him, leaving him no way of breaking his fall.

As he lays on the ground, presumably terrified and unable to move, the officers cuff him and demand that he stands up.

“You’re alright, stand up.” one cops is heard saying. “You can walk,” another tells the now disabled man. The cops then discuss the matter, noting

“He don’t speak a lick of English.”

“I tried to pat him down but he tried to walk away from me.”

“I don’t know what his problem is but he won’t listen.”

“He was trying to walk away.”

When the Patel family took the story to the media this week, the Madison Police Department claimed that Mr Patel was snooping around the neighborhood, looking in people’s windows and garages. Of course, that was pure horse shit.

Since the story went viral, Madison PD has apologized to the family and arrested officer Parker, who has also been fired. He now faces charges of third-degree assault, and has been released on a $1,000 bond.

“On Monday they were trying to blame Mr. Patel.” said the family attorney Hank Sherrod. “On Monday they were minimizing this. I’m glad they apparently are starting to do the right thing. But why weren’t they doing this on Monday? With those videos.” he added.

As the local news report states, the FBI is also conducting an inquiry as to whether there were any federal violations in this case.

You think?

This is the shameful state of police brutality in the US now. This man and his family came to the country legally to better their lives and live their dreams. They have had it all torn away from them forever, and been left literally crippled and emotionally destitute.
