Independent media reporter Mike Cernovich was assaulted at an anti-Trump rally in Austin, Texas, Saturday.

According to eye-witness reports, Cernovich was attacked by protesters after shouting, “Bill Clinton is a rapist.”
“Yes, so, I was assaulted,” Cernovich says. “Somebody attacked me. I had to hit them back. Somebody attacked me and I exercised reasonable self-defense.”
Police, who reportedly agreed with Cernovich’s right to self-defense, can be seen escorting him from the area.
