The Murdochs have decided Bill O’Reilly’s 21 year tenure with Fox News is over and have selected Tucker Carlson as the man who will take over the host’s primetime slot.
“The O’Reilly Factor” has been been the top cable news program for fifteen years.
“Tucker Carlson Tonight” will be under pressure to deliver similar ratings, but it’s not the first time.
Tucker replaced Megyn Kelly’s time slot where she was the second most-watched host on cable and he immediately topped her ratings.
