President Trump met with the president of the world’s largest professional soccer organization Tuesday to celebrate the World Cup coming to America in 2026.

During the meeting FIFA head Gianni Infantino presented Trump with yellow and red cards used as penalty markers in the sport, which the president immediately tried to hand to fake news media reporters surrounding him.

“In soccer we have referees and they have cards: yellow cards and red cards. Yellow card is a warning, and when you want to kick out someone…” Infantino remarked as he touched the red card, before Trump quickly grabbed the card and motioned to the media.

The United States will host the games alongside Mexico and Canada after securing a joint bid in June 2018.

“My son Barron loves soccer,” Trump later noted, adding Barron insisted on meeting Infantino when he learned he was visiting the White House.

While Trump will no longer be president when the games take place in 2026, he joked his term could be extended.

“I won’t be here. Maybe they’ll extend the term,” Trump quipped.

“If they don’t extend, the media is going to be very boring,” he added.
