GOP nominee Donald Trump warned Wednesday that active ISIS terrorists are being allowed into the US while posing as Syrian refugees.

Trump made the comments in an appearance on the O’Reilly factor, in the wake of the latest ISIS attack in Europe, with scores of people being killed by bombs at Istanbul airport in Turkey.

Trump said that Obama and Hillary Clinton had the opportunity to make sure ISIS was “wiped out quickly and effectively,” while it was still in its infancy, but they failed to do so.

“Now it’s a very large group of people and its only getting bigger and if [Clinton] gets in, it will be massive and we won’t even have a country anymore,” Trump said.

“We will be afraid to walk outside.” the nominee added.

“One other thing,” Trump stated, “they are letting tens of thousands of people come in from Syria and nobody knows who these people are and a lot of those people are ISIS.”

Trump also urged that Hillary Clinton is not “tough enough” to take on the terror group.

“She’ll never get tougher,” he said. “It’s not going to happen.”

Following the attack in Turkey on Tuesday, Trump warned that the threat of terrorism is at its highest ever.

“The terrorist threat has never been greater,” Trump wrote in a statement.

“Our enemies are brutal and ruthless and will do anything to murder those who do not bend to their will. We must take steps now to protect America from terrorists, and do everything in our power to improve our security to keep America safe.” the statement concluded.

While Trump edged into a narrow lead over Clinton in a new Rasmussen poll, Clinton told supporters this week that Trump’s followers are xenophobic, misogynistic, homophobic, and racist.

“I am sympathetic to a lot of the people attracted by Trump’s message, who are feeling really left out and left behind,” Clinton said during a YouTube Creators summit in Los Angeles.

“I’m not sympathetic to the xenophobia, the misogyny, the homophobia, the Islamophobia, and all of the other sort of dog whistles that Trump uses to create that fervor among a lot of his supporters,” she added.

Clinton also suggested that Trump’s “Make America Great Again” slogan is some sort of “code for ‘Go back to the time when a lot of people were not included, including women, including African Americans, Latinos, and a lot of other people.’”

She also suggested that Trump continues to make a “veiled appeal” to supporters by inciting violence.

“That has to be rejected, that’s contrary to our values,” she said.
