Texas Southern University in Houston is on lockdown, following reports of at least one person shot at a student housing complex. It is the second shooting at a US university today.
This is also the second shooting at TSU this week. On Wednesday evening a 25-year-old male was shot in the abdomen. The shooter in that incident was identified as Darios Tramain Crayton Scott.

Friday’s shooting took place around 11:30 local time at the Courtyard Apartments complex, local media reported. There are conflicting reports of one or two victims.

TSU is a historically black college in the heart of Houston with an enrollment of around 10,000 students.
