Seven Klamath County Sheriff’s Office patrol deputies have been placed on paid administrative leave.

Klamath County Sheriff Frank Skrah said Monday in a press release that on Aug. 21, he was advised by Klamath County Human Resources and Klamath County Counsel Dave Groff that five deputies were placed on leave.

Since then, he said he has been notified of others being placed on paid leave.

Skrah says in the release, “placing these individuals on paid leave was done without consulting with me or my command staff.”
