A new poll shows that Kentucky primary winner Rand Paul still maintains a healthy lead over his Democratic opponent despite a savage corporate media attack campaign that attempted to smear him as a racist, proving that he has survived the contrived, coordinated and vicious demonization plot that was enacted immediately after he defeated his establishment neo-con adversary Trey Grayson.

The new survey results indicate that Thursday’s Daily Kos poll on the Kentucky race was skewed by the bias agenda of its authors, as we speculated last week. A poll conducted May 25-27 by Survey USA shows that Paul has a 6 point lead over his Democrat opponent Jack Conway, double the number that the Daily Kos poll claimed.

The Hill’s Vicki Needham wrote that the poll results indicate Paul has “survived” the 2-week long media demonization campaign against him which began on MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow show.

The brutal, contrived, and coordinated corporate media attack on Rand Paul has undoubtedly impacted his lead over Conway, which at one stage was a mammoth 25 points, according to Rasmussen.

But the fact that there is still daylight between Paul and Conway proves that the attack dogs failed to achieve what they set out to do – which was to end Rand Paul’s political career entirely.

Neo-cons and neo-libs alike claimed that Paul’s nuanced philosophical view on one of the ten titles of the Civil Rights Act, which the media twisted to the point where Paul became a de facto Klan member, had led to the ‘collapse of his political career’.

What the establishment still refuses to grasp is that they no longer wield the same level of influence in tearing down anyone who threatens the status quo. Undoubtedly, many will have bought the scam and meekly withdrawn their support for Paul, but a sizeable hardcore will also have been attracted to him as a result of the smear.

With the system losing all credibility and support for establishment incumbent politicians draining away, the fact that the establishment unloaded both barrels on Paul will only have given him more credibility in the eyes of some.

Anyone who is subject to such a vicious, sustained and out of proportion attack as was metered out against Rand Paul must pose a threat to the status quo, and while people may not agree with all of his positions, there’s no doubt that his presence in the Senate would represent a huge boost to the freedom movement, which is why the system is so intent on tearing him down.
