Senator Rand Paul paid a visit to Fox & Friends Wednesday morning, where he spoke about his book, Government Bullies, and his efforts to reduce what he views as wasteful action and abuse of power on the part of government.

Regarding his previous run-in with the TSA, Paul says that “we ought to have dignity when we travel,” chastising the TSA for placing hands “in the the pants of six year old girl” and and “taking diapers off elderly patients.” He also shared the story of a woman sentenced to eight years for putting dirt on her land. His examples served to highlight a question Paul posed at the segment’s beginning: Doesn’t the government have better things to do?

Later, host Gretchen Carlson said that “so many people vote on social issues,” asking Paul what voters should be focused on.
