After announcing his departure from CNN this morning, former television host Piers Morgan said if he’s to be remembered for anything during his time at the network, he wants it to be the appearance of Alex Jones on his show.

The former host of Piers Morgan Live could never quite capitalize on the high ratings Jones brought to the show, which was ultimately cancelled by CNN earlier this year.

Morgan eventually admitted his push for gun control was the primary reason for the show’s lackluster ratings apart from Jones’ appearance.
