Gun grabbers claim to oppose violence yet advocate killing gun owners

After Piers Morgan and guests joked about murdering Alex Jones during the CNN host’s show on Tuesday night, Twitter users took to the social network to share Morgan’s death wish.

While debating Morgan’s contentious interview with Alex Jones, author Buzz Bissinger remarked, “But what do you need a semi-automatic weapon for? The only reason I think you’d need it is, Piers, challenge Alex Jones to a boxing match, show up with a semi-automatic that you got legally and pop him.”

“I’d love to see that,” responded Huffington Post’s Abby Huntsman, adding, “In uniform.”

“I’ll borrow my brother’s uniform,” Morgan responded.

Morgan, who has built his gun control argument on the justification of reducing violence in America, called Jones’ aggressive on-air defense of the right to bear arms “undignified” and “unedifying,” yet just 24 hours later he was laughing and joking about gunning down Jones with a semi-automatic weapon.

Despite this exchange, as well as media talking points in the aftermath of interview that attempted to smear Jones as a potentially violent person who deserved to have his guns taken away, ideological allies of Morgan took to Twitter to share his death wish.

“There must be a line of people ready to SHOOT the a**hole that is Alex Jones what a f***ing clown!!” wrote one user named Tommy Young.

“For all the wrong reasons Alex Jones does a good job promoting guns….I definitely want to shoot him!” added Luke Stringer.

This again exemplifies how gun grabbers – despite their pretense of opposing violence – routinely betray their violently unstable nature, and are perfectly willing to openly advocate violence – so long as it’s used against their political adversaries.

As Lew Rockwell wrote earlier this week, “In my experience, gun controllers are violent people, and private gun-owners are not. That is, gun controllers support mass murder; they just want it to be a monopoly of soldiers, police, etc. They would be glad to see Alex and the rest of us shot.”

A petition has been created on the ‘We The People’ website which demands the White House direct the FBI to investigate Morgan and his guests for making the on-air death threats against Alex Jones under Title 18, U.S.C., Section 241.
