Offers psychological reward for loyal subjects if they help push government healthcare on their families

The Obama administration is fully aware that one should never let a good disaster go to waste, which is why the President is using the Healthcare.gov website meltdown as a fundraising tool, and a way of encouraging more of his supporters to volunteer their time to push his agenda.

“By now, you’ve probably heard that the website has not worked as smoothly as it was supposed to,” Obama told his supporters in an address sent out late Tuesday.

“That’s why I need your help,” he said, in a bizarre video pitch that links to an online fundraiser being pushed by the pro-Obama political advocacy group Organizing for Action.

“The other side has already spent a whopping $400 million in anti-Obamacare TV ads,” the fundraiser site notes. “We don’t have to beat that, but we need to have the resources to fight back. Make a donation to support OFA today.”

In the video, which is almost as cringingly embarrassing as his infomercial speech on Monday, the president even promises that supporters can become “part of Team Obamacare”, adding “I’m asking you to help tell your friends, families, coworkers, classmates, neighbors and anyone else what the Affordable Care Act can mean for them.”

That’s correct, Obama is offering his pavlovian subjects a psychological reward for their efforts to push his socialized healthcare project on their friends and families.

“Remember, nobody ever expected this would be easy — change never is… [but] I’m absolutely confident that we will finish the job of making health care in the country not just a privilege for a fortunate few, but a right for all Americans to enjoy,” he notes, without covering the fact that hundreds of thousands of Americans are about to have their health insurance plans cancelled due to Obamacare. Many more will see premiums INCREASE rather than go down.

The video campaign comes with the news that the White House is planning an aggressive “blitz” of rollout events across the country.
