On Monday Obama Press Secretary Josh Earnest borrowed from Hillary Clinton’s anti-Second Amendment campaign when he used “weapon of war” in regard to semi-automatic firearms:

Democrats are completely ignorant on the subject of firearms. The AR-15 is not a “weapon of war” due to the simple fact it is not an automatic weapon.
On Monday, Florida Rep. Alan Grayson made the outrageous claim an AR-15 can fire 700 rounds per minute.
“If [Mateen] was not able to buy a weapon that shoots off 700 rounds in a minute, a lot of those people would still be alive,” the Democrat congressman said. “If somebody like him had nothing worse to deal with than a Glock pistol … he might have killed three or four people and not 50. It’s way too easy to kill people in America today, and we have to think long and hard about what to do about that.”
“You’re right about that,” replied CNN’s know-nothing Erin Burnett.
Grayson and Burnett may have consulted the Bushmaster XM15 manual before coming off as imbeciles.
The manufacturer states the rifle can fire 45 rounds per minute.
A fully auto M16 can fire between 650 and 750 rounds per minute.
Reality cannot be permitted to get in the way of the campaign to destroy the Second Amendment and render Americans helpless.
