House Bill 314 needs another push from Mississippi gun owners. This is the bill most gun owners have anticipated and desired since House Bill 2 passed last year.
After House Bill 2 was signed by Governor Bryant and it became clear that the State Constitution recognized citizen’s right to carry a firearm, local governments began an assault on the Constitution. Gun owners were surprised when, local mayors, city aldermen, and county supervisors showed their true colors and began passing gun-control ordinances.
Below is a video of a Kosciusko, MS official who obviously has no understand of the State Constitution or the State laws that prohibit a city from enacting gun-control laws. Local officials like the Mayor and Board of Aldermen in Kosciusko are why we need House Bill 314.
