For a long time, they have been one of the most popular kinds of fundraisers, but bake sales could soon be limited to after school hours.
Starting this August, a bill that changes nutrition standards in schools, will also ban bake sales during school hours. Now, some lawmakers are trying to expand the ban to include nighttime events and weekend events, like sports games.
22News spoke with some Springfield-area parents who do not think that this is a good idea.
