A protest will take place Tuesday night in downtown Albuquerque. Some people are upset with the police department after last week’s officer-involved shooting in the foothills.

Police said 38-year-old James Boyd was illegally camping in the area and after a long standoff, he was shot and killed.

Since the shooting, residents have been speaking up, especially when it comes to the comment from APD Chief Gordon Eden last Friday. He told the media he believes the shooting was justified.
