L.A. Times journalist Steven Borowiec wants to see Donald Trump dead.
The Seoul-based reporter tweeted his response to a Time story sent out under the headline “See Donald Trump’s life in photos”.

“I would rather see Donald Trump’s life end,” responded Borowiec.
Really hope the @latimes understands that one of its journalists said this about @realDonaldTrump … before deleting the Tweet pic.twitter.com/3g5ioV0oGO

He quickly deleted the tweet, but unfortunately for Borowiec, the Internet never forgets.
He was later forced to apologize, claiming it was a joke.
I apologize for my Trump tweet. I meant it in jest.

This is not the first time that a journalist working for a major publication has “joked” about wanting to see Trump dead.
Back in February, New York Times columnist Ross Douthat caused outrage after he joked about how an assassination attempt could end Donald Trump’s presidential campaign.
