He wants his $11,000 in cash back, and he hopes the U.S. government can help.

However, it’s that same government that took his cash in the first place.

College student Charles Clarke , 24, was traveling to Florida through the Cincinnati Northern/Kentucky International Airport in 2014 when police stopped him.

A ticket agent complained that Clarke smelled like marijuana at the time. During his interview, agents took $11,000 in cash that Clarke was going to use to pay for college. Investigators and prosecutors claim the money came from drug dealing.
