Former Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura is cheering on the destruction of BOTH political parties, urging that it is time for a new road in US politics to emerge.

In an appearance on CNN, Ventura told Don Lemon “People no longer trust the career politicians, no longer trust the status quo, because they’ve screwed it up so bad.”

“I love listening to you talk to those other talking heads about Donald Trump could be the destruction of the whole Republican Party,” Ventura noted, adding “I throw my hand up in the air and cheer, I hope it happens.”

“And I hope Bernie Sanders is the destruction of the Democratic Party.” Ventura added.

“It’s time to break up the two party dictatorship,” Ventura continued, referring to his recently penned book ‘DemoCRIPS and ReBLOODlicans: No More Gangs in Government’.

“We deserve more than two choices, I’m fiscally conservative, but I’m socially liberal, so how do I fit into their choices?” Ventura asked.

The former Navy Seal also reiterated that he liked both Trump and Sanders and would consider being the running mate of either.

Trump is the GOP frontrunner in the primary race in the key swing states of Florida, Ohio and Pennsylvania, according to new polls from Quinnipiac University, while Sanders is lagging behind Hillary Clinton by double digits.

However, while Clinton and Trump run almost even in the states when matched up against each other, Sanders runs out a much more favorable candidate when matched against Trump in all three states.
