• Guest Stewart Rhodes, founder of Oath Keepers, joins Alex to discuss the implications of indefinite detention and torture for American citizens under the looming National Defense Authorization Act.

• Guest Ted Anderson, owner of the GCN Live radio network and Midas Resources, breaks down the massive financial looting taking place under the veil of the constant economic crisis, including secret loans and bailouts, insider trading and more.

Tonight’s Wed, Nov. 30, 2011 edition of the Infowars Nightly News will delve into the assault on American rights, with a new bold move in Congress to legitimize torture and indefinite detention, even on U.S. soil. Alex covers the latest on the failure yesterday of an amendment that would have weakened Section 1031 of the NDAA bill as well as how the basis of the President’s likely veto would only embolden the powers of executive fiat.

Also in the news is how the Obama Administration sealed records on murdered Border Agent Brian Terry, whose death is intimately linked with the still unfolding Fast & Furious scandal that implicates among others, the Justice Department headed by Attorney General Eric Holder. Holder and other officials have waffled on what they knew and when; the move is seen as an attempt to sweep the controversy under the rug.

On the economic front, former Treasury Secretary and former Goldman Sachs executive Hank Paulson came under fire after it was revealed that he had private meetings in 2008 with hedge funds where he reportedly hinted at a rescue of Fannie and Freddie. Whatever the facts prove to be in this specific case, it is all too clear that the concept of conflict of interests has little foothold in the incestuous crony-capitalist relationship between Wall Street and Washington.

Meanwhile a notary set to be sentenced in a systematic foreclosure fraud case in Nevada was found dead. Despite the wider implications, authorities have disclosed that they are not investigating the death as a homicide. Tracy Lawrence, the notary, had pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge and faced up to one year in prison.

Movers and Sheriff’s deputies in Atlanta, Georgia refused to evict a 103 year-old woman battling Deutsche Bank (serviced in turn by Chase) in court. After massive media attention and the honorable humanitarian refusal on the part of movers and deputies, the bank has reportedly backed off of the eviction as well. In other news, Queen Elizabeth II has threatened to deduct wages if members of her staff join the nationwide strikes taking place in the UK. Unions have urged these workers to walk out and join demonstrations over lost pensions and more.

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has fallen into yet another scandal, this time accused of covering-up a sexual harassment case involving several TSA employees, while punishing three women who had all accused the same man with threats of suspension or termination. “Nilda C. Marugame, a TSA worker at Lihue airport, sued the TSA’s governmental parent, the Department of Homeland Security, in Federal Court. Marugame claims a TSA investigator (TSI) “sexually assaulted her” on Aug. 26, 2009,” reports Courthouse News Service.

As members of the Occupy movement continue to face push-back from police and city officials across the globe, demonstrators in Montreal are complaining about being ‘branded’ by police with numbers visible only under UV light after being arrested. CTV reports that police justified this bizarre processing technique as a means of preventing members of the group from returning to Victoria Square.
