A source with the Mobile Police Department tells Local 15 a person was shot in the face during a fight in downtown Mobile Tuesday around 1 a.m.
The source says about 300 people were fighting on the corner of St. Francis Street and N. Claiborne when shots were fired. The person was taken to USA Medical Center.
Those fighting may have come out of a nearby club.
