A son fatally shot an alleged teen robber as he was showing off his new pistol to his dad at their home in east Houston, police say.
It happened in a neighborhood on Majestic at Market around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, according to Houston Police Department Sgt. Thomas Simmons.
Simmons said the son and dad were in their backyard looking at the new pistol when two juvenile suspects, around 15 or 16 years old, approached them.
“The father and son noticed them walking up and down the street a couple of times before they were approached,” said Simmons. “They said one suspect pulled out a gun and was pointing at them, which we have recovered here at the scene.”
