New York Rep. and House Homeland Security Committee Chairman Peter King said that an Israeli strike on Iran will not be “surgical” and the United States will participate in the attack.
Rep. Peter King (R-NY), Chairman of the House Committee on Homeland Security said Hezbollah may attack any moment.
Appearing on CNN’s “Starting Point,” King said he does not rule out an attack. “There’s no doubt that if Israel does attack Iran, this is not going to be easy, it’s not going to be surgical, and again the U.S. could find itself implicated or involved in it,” he said.
“I don’t think we can rule out an Israeli attack. I think we need to keep all the pressure out there,” said King.
On Wednesday, King told the House Committee on Homeland Security that Hezbollah is a threat to the United States. Hezbollah is “one of international terrorism’s most violent murder gangs,” he said. King said the American should “prepare for the worst” from Hezbollah following an Israeli attack on Iran.
Hezbollah emerged following the Israeli invasion of southern Lebanon during an especially brutal civil war. It is considered one of the most capable resistance groups in the world. “Hezbollah is the most formidable non-state army in the world and by far the deadliest and most effective fighting force ever fielded against Israel,” writes Michael J. Totten of City Journal in a review of a book about Hezbollah by Nicholas Blanford.

Seasoned neocon propaganda minister Judith Miller reported on King’s hearing. Miller played a pivotal role at the New York Times selling the disastrous Iraq invasion to the American people.
“The director of intelligence analysis for the New York Police Department and former officials of the FBI, the Drug Enforcement Agency, and the Treasury Department who had worked intimately on Federal cases involving Hezbollah agreed that the militant Shiite group now posed a greater threat to Americans at home than Al Qaeda, Sunni Muslim militants, and that more needed to be done to identify operatives and limit their operations here,” Miller writes.
Almost without exception (as usual) the corporate media has reported on King’s highly speculative accusations without criticism – which means the next phase of the preparation for an attack on Iran will consist of Hezbollah terrorists replacing the old al-Qaeda bogeyman. Few in the establishment media question the absurd contention that Hezbollah is a mindless pawn and would risk the bombing and destruction of Lebanon following an attack inside the United States.
Is it possible there will be a false flag this summer blamed on Hezbollah as election campaigning turns serious?
It may be repeat of what happened in France this week when a “lone wolf” al-Qaeda terrorist killed soldiers and children. France is in the middle of an important election with a nationalist giving Nicolas Sarkozy a run for the establishment’s money.
It looks like the terrorist meme is being unleashed again now that the global elite have decided Iran must suffer the fate of neighbors Iraq and Afghanistan.
