That’s the new policy being implemented at elementary schools in Muscogee County, Georgia for the 2015-16 school year.
The district will be using scanning devices that take “a super high-resolution infrared photograph of the vein pattern just below the skin,” WTVM reports.
The image is “recorded, digitized and stored on an encrypted server.”
