The FBI is investigating the Connecticut House Republican caucus and its use of campaign vendor mailings, a probe that prompted the caucus’ chief of staff to resign.
House Minority Leader Lawrence Cafero Jr. said Thursday the FBI came to the Legislative Office Building Wednesday to interview various Republican representatives.
Cafero said subpoenas were served on the House Republican Office, the House Republican Campaign Committee and the Office of Legislative Management. He said the caucus is “fully cooperating” with the inquiry.
