MILLBRAE, CA (KGO) — The FBI and BART police were out in full force Wednesday morning at the Millbrae BART station for an emergency training exercise.

One of the platforms was closed while SWAT teams from the various law enforcement organizations ran through different scenarios.
The emergency response on transit systems is different than most tactical assault responses, as planes, trains and buses can pose different challenges.
The scenarios rehearsed included hostage situations, armed gunmen, bomb threats and natural disasters.
