FBI Director James Comey told a cybersecurity conference at Fordham University Wednesday the eventual defeat of the Islamic State in Syria and Iraq will result in more terrorism in Europe and the United States.

“At some point there is going to be a terrorist diaspora out of Syria like we’ve never seen before,” Comey said. “Not all of the Islamic State killers are going to die on the battlefield.”

He compared it to the situation in Afghanistan in the 1980s when the CIA recruited and armed Mujahideen to defeat the Soviet Union. Remnants of this CIA project subsequently evolved into al-Qaeda and the Taliban.

“This is an order of magnitude greater than anything we’ve seen before,” Comey said. “A lot of terrorists fled out of Afghanistan… this is 10 times that or more.”

A similar situation evolved in Syria where ISIS jihadists from Iraq were imported and fed munitions through a “rat line” established by the CIA and MI6 after western supported rebels defeated and killed Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi.

ISIS began as an al-Qaeda offshoot in Iraq. It was manipulated by the Pentagon using a mercurial and largely mythical Abu Musab al-Zarqawi.

In 2012, the Pentagon’s Defense Intelligence Agency predicted Salafists, the Muslim Brotherhood (long a British intelligence asset) and al-Qaeda in Iraq would establish an “undeclared Salafist principality in eastern Syria” at the behest of “supporting powers to the opposition,” in short, Saudi Arabia, the Gulf Emirates, Turkey, and the United States.

CNN’s resident national security analyst Peter Bergen “blames a more complex regional breakdown for sowing the attacks” in Brussels, Paris, Munich and elsewhere in Europe. “He notes that the fracturing of authority in Iraq, Syria and Yemen has produced a massive migration of Muslims from those regions to Europe, which prompted reactionary political parties there to rail against them.”

Bergen, however, does not mention the “breakdown” is the fault of the United States, France, and the Gulf monarchies.

The situation in Iraq is the result of the 2003 US invasion and occupation. In Syria, the US, Britain, and the Gulf Emirates created the jihadist war against the government of Bashar al-Assad, destroying the country and killing over 250,000 people. The situation in Yemen is directly attributable to the involvement of Saudi Arabia and its war against the Shia of the impoverished country on the southern end of the Arabian Peninsula. The United States has provided munitions and logical support for the war. More than 8,000 people have died in Yemen, 93% of them civilians, according to Action On Armed Violence (AOAV) and the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA).

It is fair to conclude, then, based on this history of terrorist violence supported and encouraged by the West and Sunni Wahhabi fanatics in Saudi Arabia and Qatar, the violence predicted by Comey is part of a larger plan now unfolding in Europe.

“The neocon plan to destroy the Middle East and North Africa through prolonged military occupation, continued air strike bombing and forever war spilling blood into its second decade along with the fabrication of the fake enemy ISIS has singlehandedly created the migration crisis in Europe,” writes Joachim Hagopian, a West Point graduate and former US Army officer.

“The refugee migration crisis in both America and Europe is part of the globalist divide and conquer agenda, specifically designed to create racial tensions and conflicts between the native populations and the new arrivals. It also conveniently provides the perfect cover for yet more false flag terrorism in both the US and Europe.”

It also provides the state with a sufficient pretext to enlarge and extend a surveillance and police state apparatus.

Both France and Germany, in response to recent terror attacks attributed to the Islamic State (tenuously attributed; the perpetrators often appear to be mentally disturbed individuals without IS connection), have moved to militarize society and curtail civil liberties. In France, under an extended state of emergency, police have turned their new powers against non-Islamic political groups.

In the United States, the attacks of 9/11 were used to enact the Patriot Act, effectively repeal Posse Comitatus, adopt the National Defense Authorization Act, and tweak and extend a mélange of laws, mandates, and directives eroding the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, all under the banner of fighting terrorism largely created by intelligence agencies, the Pentagon, and their partners in the Middle East.

In essence, Comey is announcing the police and surveillance state in America will be significantly expanded and local law enforcement further militarized as the manufactured threat of the Islamic State is imported.

The attacks in Orlando and San Bernardino, in addition to ostensibly non-Islamic attacks on police in Dallas and elsewhere around the country, have resulted in Congress calling for more direct involvement in Syria and Iraq as well as, primarily on the part of Democrats, strident calls for rolling back the Second Amendment and incrementally disarming the American people.
