Former Vice President Joe Biden may be challenging President Trump in 2020.
In a Morning Joe interview Friday, MSNBC guest commentator Donny Deutsch revealed from a source that Biden would be running in 2020 “if he’s healthy.”
“I spoke to someone close to Biden, [who] said if he’s healthy, he’s going for it in 2020,” Deutsch stated.
Adding to the speculation, Biden, who has not formally announced he’ll be vying for the Democrat ticket, also appeared in an interview with Oprah Thursday, claiming he had regrets he’s not the president.

A Politico piece published Friday also claimed Biden was privately telling people he might attempt to unseat Trump if stronger Democrat figures did not emerge, also noting that in 2020 Biden would be 77-years-old and “the oldest potential candidate in the field other than Bernie Sanders.”
On Tuesday, Biden took a victory lap as Dems won elections throughout the nation, claiming it was a “resounding defeat” for President Trump.

Recently former DNC interim chair Donna Brazile revealed she was considering running Biden on the Democrat ticket as concerns over candidate Hillary Clinton’s ill health worsened.
In his new memoir, “Promise Me, Dad: A Year of Hope, Hardship, and Purpose,” Biden expressed he had decided not to run against Clinton in 2016 because of her campaign’s “stop at nothing” approach to opposition research.
“Clinton backers sent the signal that they would not stop at voting records and policies if I did get in the race,” Biden wrote.
