A keen meteorologist caught the bizarre moment a satellite scan of Hurricane Matthew appeared to resemble a human skull.

The image was captured yesterday by Weather Channel meteorologist Stu Ostro, who described the image as “sinister-looking.”
“Sinister-looking face of #HurricaneMatthew at landfall in #Haiti,” Ostro posted on Twitter, adding, “[Un-doctored #weather #satellite image].”

Hurricane Matthew, which reached winds higher than 157 miles per hour, is expected to head up the eastern US seaboard, and is currently making its way toward the Bahamas after striking Cuba hard.
