While the details surrounding this case are unclear, according to the law, in some states, “bail enforcement agents,” or bounty hunters, can enter a home without a warrant, but only if it’s the home of the fugitive they are trying to apprehend. Under the 4th amendment, police need probable cause and a search warrant to enter private homes. Only in police states and fascist dictatorships is this not the case.
