In a video obtained by email from Info-warrior ‘Justin,’ an officer of unknown origin pulls over a driver with a West Virginia license plate for speeding.

Everything’s going fine until the cop asks if he can search the motorists’ vehicle, to which the driver replies, “Not without a warrant.”

The cop takes the refusal well at first, but eventually his rage explodes in what the U.K.’s Daily Mail described as a ‘profanity laced tirade’: ‘That’ll be just f****** fine, buddy! … You know what? You take this s*** and you go back to f******* Charleston and you don’t f****** come back here OK?’

Whether the video is fake or not remains the subject of speculation. Various questions remain unanswered: Who was the officer? How did we get his dash-cam footage and audio? What state did this take place in? Mark Berman of OpposingViews.com states: “The video does not make clear exactly when or where this happened, but there is a Charleston in both South Carolina and West Virginia, so perhaps it happened in one of those states or neighboring states.”

Comments on different uploads show some are skeptical about the video’s authenticity: “This is fake. They’re both cops.” – SpahnRanch1969.

While it’s almost impossible to ascertain whether the video is a fake or not, with footage like we’ve seen from the case of Kelly Thomas, it wouldn’t be surprising if this video was in fact real.

Even if this video turns out to be fake, Americans still need to research their Fourth Amendment rights. It grants people the right to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects against unreasonable searches and seizures, and requires any warrant to be judicially sanctioned and supported by probable cause.

The video’s first upload seems to be Sept 1, 2011, but there are multiple uploads of this same video. If anyone has further information on this, drop us a line at [email protected].
