MSNBC host Chris Matthews suggested Thursday that President Trump was playing to his anti-Semitic supporters by mispronouncing Sen. Dianne Feinstein’s last name.
Matthews said Thursday on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” that when Trump pronounces Feinstein’s last name like “Fein-steen,” it’s an “ethnic” signal.
“I’ve got tell you, in Dianne Feinstein — it’s not Fein-steen, by the way, it’s Feinstein,” said Matthews. “He knows how to pronounce her name. He knows what he’s doing. I know that game, little ethnic game, I know how that plays.”
