The host of Comedy Central’s Daily Show was attacked online Friday after suggesting anti-Trump protesters should refrain from violent acts.
During the opening segment of Thursday’s episode, Trevor Noah called upon his viewers to engage in peaceful dissent and to stop attacking police.

“I’m glad people are protesting though, you know. It’s important for the world to see that not all of America supports Donald Trump. I am glad about that protest,” Noah says. “But I will say this though. Protest is productive, but we have to be careful about how we protest.”
“We can’t be throwing bottles at the police. You can’t be burning effigies. That’s not what American democracy is all about, you know.”
After video of the monologue was uploaded to Comedy Central’s Twitter Friday, left-leaning Americans attacked the host for denouncing their violence.

Here's some advice.
Whenever you get the urge to open your mouth and criticize protesters? Use that breath, time, and energy…to NOT.

People are dying at the hands of Trump supporters carrying out hate crimes.
But "don't get too wild with the protests, folks!"

Anti-Trump rioters are already justifying their violence by claiming that a violent “hate-crimewave” has begun in the wake of the presidential election. In reality, many of these alleged instances were either outright fake or carried out by leftists on purpose.
In fact, a viral story in which a female Muslim student at the University of Louisiana claimed to have gad her hijab ripped off and her wallet stolen by two white Trump supporters this week turned out to be a hoax.
“This incident is no longer under investigation,” the Lafayette Police Department said in a press release after the woman admitted to fabricating the story.
Meanwhile, Trump supporters are being physically attacked across the country merely for expressing their support for Trump.
