Wikileaks founder Julian Assange suggested yet again that murdered DNC staffer Seth Rich was the source of the DNC leaks during an interview on Fox News last night.

Asked by host Megyn Kelly to clarify his comments during an interview on Dutch television in which he implied that Rich was the source of the DNC leaks, Assange kept his cards close to his chest.

“Why are you so interested in Seth Rich’s killer?” asked Kelly.

“We’re interested in anything that might be a threat to alleged Wikileaks sources,” said Assange, reiterating that the organization had offered $20,000 dollars for information leading to the capture of Rich’s murderer.

“We’re not saying Seth Rich’s death is necessarily connected to our publication, that’s something that has to be established – but if there’s any question about a source of Wikileaks being threatened people can be assured that this organization will go after anyone who may have been involved in some kind of attempt to coerce or possibly in this case kill a potential source,” he added.

Asked if he “had any suspicions” who may have been behind Rich’s murder, Assange said that Wikileaks had “received a variety of information” but not enough yet to point fingers.

Assange then again implied that Rich was the source of the leak, but cautioned that his murder may not have been connected to his contact with Wikileaks.

As we reported last week, there was around an hour and a half of “unaccounted for” time between Rich leaving a bar and being killed.

Rich was shot in the back in Washington D.C. on July 10, the apparent victim of an attempted “robbery” despite the fact that no possessions were taken.

Brad Bauman, a crisis communications manager for the Democratic Party, was hired by RIch’s family to act as their spokesman.

Bauman’s first action was to insist that people stop questioning the unsolved circumstances behind Rich’s murder.
