Protesters marching under the red and black anarcho-syndicalism flag chanted “no fascist USA, no Trump” outside of a Trump rally held at the Richmond Coliseum on Friday.

Placards and banners lofted by the crowd supported Black Lives Matter, declared “anti-fascism is self defense,” denounced misogyny and racism, and demanded Trump “go home to Nazi Germany.”

A man at the front of the march held a cardboard sign claiming “killing Nazis is my heritage.”

Later in the evening protesters attacked Trump supporters and police mounted a feeble attempt to keep prevent violence.

Five people were reportedly arrested for disorderly conduct.

Earlier in the day, protesters shouting “Stop hate! Stop Trump!” and “Refugees are welcome here!” were removed from a ballroom in Washington where Trump addressed evangelical Christians.

Failed Republican candidate Mitt Romney agreed with the message chanted by the anti-capitalist protesters in Richmond. He said Trump is promoting “trickle-down racism” and appealing to racist tendencies.

Romney has said he may vote for Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson.

Johnson also believes Donald Trump is a racist.

Romney focused on Trump’s tax returns and said “there’s something in those taxes that’s even worse than shooting someone on Fifth Avenue.”

Trump has trained his laser-sharp criticism on Senator Elizabeth Warren, an ersatz progressive who threw her support behind Hillary Clinton.

“Pocahontas is at it again!” Trump tweeted on Friday after Warren launched a tirade against him, calling him a bully and racist. “Goofy Elizabeth Warren, one of the least productive U.S. Senators, has a nasty mouth.”
