Alex Jones was the number one trend on Twitter Wednesday after arriving in the nation’s capital to protest tech censorship.
The Infowars founder, who also reached number two worldwide, traveled to D.C. to face his accusers as the Senate Intelligence Committee questioned Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey and Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg.
Prior to entering the hearing, Jones spoke to the media about numerous issues including the de-platforming of conservatives, Chinese government infiltration of the United States as well as the First Amendment in the digital age.
“Simultaneously, four major tech giants in 24 hours admitted they colluded – violated Sherman Anti-Trust Act II at the bare minimum – to deplatform me from more than 20 million subscribers total, people who chose to go click, link and listen to what I was saying and what I was doing,” Jones told reporters. “What they told 20 million subscribers is ‘you can’t go listen to Alex Jones anymore.’”

Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) was also confronted and denied having any knowledge of Jones, Infowars or the deplatforming of conservatives on social media sites.
Jones was also threatened by Rubio after placing his arm on the senator’s shoulder in a friendly gesture.
Here’s the rough video of Alex Jones confronting Marco Rubio.
Rubio claimed to not know who Jones was, then got triggered when Jones patted him on the back.

Sen. Ron Wyden (D-Ore) was similarly confronted just moments later in the capitol.
“You guys have dehumanized me… stop violating my First Amendment in those hearings,” Jones said.

While looking for Dorsey, Jones also confronted CNN reporter Oliver Darcy, who has abused his platform to have Infowars removed from countless online platforms.
