Authorities say four people died and seven remain hospitalized after a van carrying suspected illegal immigrants crashed in South Texas.
Border Patrol spokesman Henry Mendiola says agents saw the van load up Sunday morning near the Rio Grande. When the van spotted a Border Patrol vehicle, it took off fast, before the agent could engage it.
