No, this isn’t a misprint. We have been covering Ukraine for the past several months, so what’s that got to do with China? China is the trump card and they know it, but they are in no rush. Public statements out of Beijing over the past 20 years makes it very clear where they stand in the long run. They have even said war with the U.S. is inevitable.
In the current situation, both the West and Russia needs support from the Chinese. I think we can forget about support from China towards the U.S. position, but that doesn’t mean they are going to run to Russia. They operate in their own self interest. So what do they want?
