Political taggers have struck in Austin, Texas. On Thursday night they painted messages on a billboard in South Austin. The sign is an advert for a motivational seminar to be held this week at the Austin Convention Center.
Infowars and Alex Jones are not responsible for the defacing and we do not condone such acts. We were tipped off to the graffiti last night.
Former Secretary of State Colin Powell is marked up as a war criminal and the words “yellow cake” are painted over his name. Powell played an instrumental role in the invasion of Iraq in 2003 that ultimately claimed the lives of well over a million Iraqis.
On February 5, 2003, Powell went before the United Nations with a scripted performance (including props) claiming that dictator and former CIA asset Saddam Hussein possessed weapons of mass destruction and that he had tried to buy “yellow cake” uranium in Africa for a nuclear program that did not exist (it was later discovered that the yellow cake story was a forgery). No weapons of mass destruction were ever found, a fact eventually admitted by the Bush administration. Powell would later attempt to pass the buck by blaming the CIA and an Iraqi defector who admitted lying to German intelligence about mobile biological weapons factories Powell cited during his performance.
Former four star general Stanley A. McChrystal’s photo on the billboard has the words “Pat Tillman” painted over it. McChrystal was responsible for exploiting Tillman’s murder in Afghanistan. He covered up the real circumstances behind Tillman’s death and turned the former NFL star’s death into pro-war propaganda. McChrystal and the Army publicly maintained that Tillman had been killed by enemy fire, when in fact his fellow Rangers shot him after a supposed ambush.
“The Tillman and Lynch cases are two clear and blatant examples of how the government has consistently lied to the public about events during both the wars in Afghanistan and in Iraq, often spinning situations and distorting reality in order to put the US military occupations in a better light,” Steve Watson wrote on April 14, 2007.
Medical evidence reveals that Tillman was murdered and not killed by so-called friendly fire. “The medical evidence did not match up with the, with the scenario as described,” a doctor who examined Tillman’s body after he was killed told investigators.
Tillman had become disillusioned with the war and wanted to tell the truth. “Tillman abandoned a lucrative career in pro-football immediately after 9/11 because he felt a rampaging patriotic urge to defend his country, and became a poster child for the war on terror as a result,” writes Paul Watson. “But when he discovered that the invasion of Iraq was based on a mountain of lies and deceit and had nothing to do with defending America, he became infuriated and was ready to return home to become an anti-war hero.”
The last “motivational speaker” on the billboard is former New York mayor and Republican presidential candidate, Rudy Giuliani. “911 was an inside job” is painted directly over Giuliani’s face. Following the attacks of September 11, the establishment media repeatedly portrayed Giuliani as a hero.
In fact, despite his loathsome posturing and cashing in on his media-generated image, Giuliani’s administration failed to address firefighters’ radio communication problems that first surfaced in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. He didn’t provide proper equipment for rescue workers at Ground Zero and showed “poor judgment” by putting the city’s $13 million emergency center on the 23rd floor of 7 World Trade Center, which was destroyed in the attack.
His arrogance is legendary. The 911 families point out Giuliani was callous in November 2001 when he limited the number of firefighters searching Ground Zero for the remains of nearly 300 fallen comrades. They also accuse him of expediting the cleanup of the site and sending rubble mixed with human body parts to a Staten Island landfill, McClathcy reported on November 16, 2007.
In short, the defacement of the billboard in Austin presents strong political points generally unknown to public because the establishment media has hidden the truth or at best minimized it.
No doubt the company responsible for the “motivational” event featuring war criminals and an arrogant narcissist who exploits the worse civilian tragedy in American history will move quickly to remove the billboard before it damages its reputation and convinces people to avoid attending.
In the meantime, the people of Austin will be subjected to a glimpse of unvarnished truth.
