Startling images out of France show smoke engulfing the Eiffel Tower, following news that a truck drove into a crowd of people killing many in Southern France.
Images of the Eiffel Tower fire began circulating just as news that a truck ploughed through a Bastille Day celebration in Nice, leaving more than 70 dead and injuring over a hundred.

Multiple reports are now claiming, however, that the fire at the Eiffel Tower is unrelated to the terror attack in Nice and was caused by fireworks.
