Police have raided three addresses in the Midlands after a man was arrested on suspicion of crashing into cyclists outside Parliament.

The 29-year-old suspect is refusing to cooperate with investigators and is not believed to have been known to MI5.

Two addresses in Birgminham and one in Nottingham were searched by police. A witness to one of the raids told the BBC “A van parked up outside the house, they broke into the house. They shouted ‘Police!’, they broke a couple of doors.”
