Canadian police and intelligence services arrested two suspects in Toronto on Monday and thwarted a “major terrorist attack” in Canada, media reported.
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police scheduled a 3:30 p.m. ET news conference to provide details, the National Post reported.
The Canadian Broadcasting Corp., citing unidentified “:highly place” sources, said the operation was coordinated with the U.S. department of Homeland security and the FBI.
