GOP front runner Donald Trump has doubled down on comments he made earlier in the week, saying that all Hillary Clinton has going for herself is ‘the woman’s card’.

In an appearance on NBC’s Today, Trump said that if Hillary were a man, she wouldn’t even be able to win a local election.

“The primary thing that she has going is that she’s a woman and she’s playing that card like I have never seen anybody play it before,” Trump said Thursday morning.

“Frankly all I’m doing is bringing out the obvious. Without the woman’s card, Hillary would not even be a viable person who could even run for a city council position,” he added.

The Today anchors suggested that Trump’s comments indicate that he doesn’t care about low polling with women voters.

Trump responded “Of course I care. Nobody respects women more than I do. And I wasn’t playing the woman’s card; it’s true she is playing the woman’s card. Everything she says is about the woman’s card.”

Asked if he understands that some women find the comments to be demeaning, Trump urged “No, I find it to be a true comment.”

“I think the only thing she’s got going is the fact that she’s a woman,” Trump said, adding that her time as secretary of State was “disastrous.”

“She is playing that card like I have never seen anyone play it before.” the billionaire candidate further noted.

During the same interview, Trump was asked how he would deal with ISIS. Trump said that he feels the US needs to be “somewhat unpredictable” when it comes to announcing military plans.

“If I get elected president, I don’t want ISIS to know what I’m going to be doing,” he said, following a speech in which he outlined his foreign policy were he to become president.

When asked if he would rule out using nuclear weapons against the terror group, Trump responded “I don’t want to rule out anything.”

“The power of weaponry today is the single greatest problem that our world has, and it’s not global warming like our president said, it’s the power of weapons — in particular, nuclear,” he said, calling the weapons “a horror.”

“I will be the last to use it. I will not be a happy trigger like some people might be, but I will never, ever rule it out.” Trump concluded.

Trump has been consistently asked by reporters if he will rule out nuking ISIS, but has always given the same answer, that he will not rule out anything when it comes to dealing with the terror group.
