President Trump unleashed a salvo of Tweets aimed at crying, lying Democrats, including pointing out Senator Chuck Schumer’s wildly flip-flopping opinion of former FBI Director James Comey and nailing Senator Richard Blumenthal for stolen valor.
He began last night with a direct strike on Schumer.
“Cryin’ Chuck Schumer stated recently, ‘I do not have confidence in him (James Comey) any longer.’ Then acts so indignant. #draintheswamp,” said the President.

During a press conference to address Comey’s termination, Schumer continued to push the “Russian election hacking” conspiracy.
“I told the President, ‘Mr. President, with all due respect, you are making a big mistake,’” he said. “Given the way the President fired Director Comey, any person who he appoints to lead the Russia investigation will be concerned that he or she will meet the same fate as Director Comey if they run afoul of the administration.”
“If Deputy Attorney General Rosenstein does not appoint an independent special prosecutor, every American will rightly suspect that the decision to fire Director Comey was part of a cover-up.”
The extreme hypocrisy of Schumer’s reaction is easily documentable, and social media users are on top of things, per usual.

The President resumed blistering grossly hypocritical Democrats in the morning.
“The Democrats have said some of the worst things about James Comey, including the fact that he should be fired, but now they play so sad!” he said. “Comey lost the confidence of almost everyone in Washington, Republican and Democrats alike.”

The loss of confidence in Comey and calls for his firing or resignation by top Democrats, including Schumer, Maxine Waters, Valerie Jarrett, and Harry Reid are also well-documented.

After retweeting Matt Drudge, who had posted a link to “10 Major FBI Scandals on Comey’s Watch,” Trump blasted Senator Blumenthal – who is banging the gong louder than ever for a ‘special independent prosecutor’ in the Russia conspiracy theory – for stolen valor.
“Watching Senator Richard Blumenthal speak of Comey is a joke,” said Trump. “‘Richie’ devised one of the greatest military frauds in U.S. history.”
“For years, as a [politician] in Connecticut, Blumenthal would talk of his great bravery and conquests in Vietnam – except he was never there.”

During the process of confirming Supreme Court Justice Neil Grosuch, Blumenthal called up his fellow senators to exercise “extreme vetting” of Gorsuch, attacking the judge’s record and character alongside fellow Democrats.
In response, 14 Medal of Honor recipients penned a scathing open letter to Blumenthal, exposing his own character flaws and exaggeration of military service.
“The fact you repeatedly and consistently claimed to have served in Vietnam is a gross case of stolen valor in our opinion,” read the letter. “You obtained at least five military deferments between 1965 and 1970, at least two of which were seemingly political favors to you so that you could avoid joining us in a war zone.”
“If you ever had a sense of duty, if ever you respected the service and sacrifice of others, then please recognize your duty now: Sen. Blumenthal, ‘take your seat!'”
