Divorce proceedings between Hillary Clinton’s top aide, Huma Abedin, and disgraced former congressman Anthony Weiner have been terminated.

On Wednesday an Abedin attorney delivered paperwork signed by both to the Manhattan Supreme Court calling for an end to the case.

Abedin, the former vice chair of Democrat Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign, filed for divorce last May as details of Weiner’s sexcapades emerged.

Weiner was sentenced last September to 21 months in federal prison for exchanging perverted texts with a 15-year-old high school student.

A lawyer for Abedin claims the couple will privately negotiate the divorce.

“In order to ensure the proceedings have a minimal impact on their child, the parties have decided to finalize their divorce swiftly and privately,” reads a statement from attorney Charles Miller.
