How many terrorists are there in the US?
Hard to say. Based on their level of activity (and lack of sophistication) not very many.
Meanwhile, there are many, many thousands of people in the US terrorism industry – tracking “terrorists,” talking and writing about terrorists, supposedly protecting us against terrorists, and, yes, posing as terrorists.
My off-hand guess: For every real terrorist in the US, there are 1,000 or more on the federal payroll pretending to be one.
