Two Afghan boys believed to have accepted food from police were beheaded by the Taliban for spying, officials told BBC News.

The bodies of the boys, aged 10 and 16, were found in the Kandahar province on Monday morning, one day after the pair was abducted.

The 10-year-old boy often was given food by the police to take home to his family, BBC News reported.
